Internationally renowned composer and cellist Jami Sieber creates a soundtrack buzzing with the life and mystery of a beehive.
Since the release of the film Queen of the Sun: What are the bees telling us? the plight of the honeybee is finding its way into so many people’s consciousness. The beautiful images, music, beekeepers, and life of this tiny creature have taken flight around the world via this film. The film has won numerous awards and has opened in more than 50 US cities, including NYC and LA, as well as two continents.
The musical soundtrack is a compilation of previously released compositions by Sieber in addition to some new collaborative creations of Sieber and Evan Schiller (producer/engineer/ composer). Also featured are two pieces performed by the Portland based group Omiza River.
