For more than a year, Jami and Kim have been co-creating a body of work on the themes of aging, death and letting go. The result is an unexpectedly uplifting immersion in original music and poems from some of the most inspired poets the world has known. The works of Langston Hughes, Ellen Bass, Marie Howe, Lucille Clifton, Stanley Kunitz, Mary Oliver, Deena Metzger, Yehuda Amachai, and W.S Merwin interweave with the torrent of original music inspired by the poems. Jami and Kim have been facilitators of explorations of these difficult, necessary themes for many years. This offering is a culmination of their shared love of the realness, rawness, aliveness and intimacy that arises when we turn towards all levels of letting go.

Please join Kim and Jami, for this new CD release celebration! Feast of Losses is a transformative convergence of poems, prayers, & song that speak to the mystery, the stillness, the joys and sorrows of the inner life. The magic of Jami's cello and song in resonance with the poems is a constantly evolving creative wellspring, a healing stream of inspiration and awakening.

The evening will benefit Kim’s initiative, the S.H.E. (Safe House Education) Fund for Maasai Girls' education.

This concert will be offered online at a later date - TBD.
